On behalf of myself, the members of the CVEP Club Board of Directors, and our approximately 800 members, I would like to thank you for the 2025–2026 season, which will come to an end this Sunday, April 5, 2026.
As you know, the majority of our membership is made up of condominium owners residing at CVE on a temporary basis, ranging from three to six months, as well as many permanent residents. Our “snowbird” members come from both Canada and the United States, and we are fortunate to benefit from such diversity within our community. Our active season runs from early November to early April each year.
We greatly value the quality of the sports facilities that Cenclub provides and are truly appreciative of the opportunity to enjoy them.
I would like to extend special thanks to Mr. Andy Hackett, Director of Operations and Events, and his entire team, especially Mrs. Haley Comerford. Mr. Hackett has always been available to assist us and open to our suggestions.
Recently, the situation regarding noise complaints related to pickleball play at the Swansea courts was brought to the attention of all CVE residents. We acted proactively and, in collaboration with Mr. Hackett, adjusted our playing schedule at Swansea. We thank you for maintaining your position in keeping the courts open for pickleball and for implementing certain restrictions and proposing corrective measures, including the purchase of soundproofing curtains for the pickleball courts.
We also thank you for listening to us during our meeting on February 24, 2026, with Mr. Burdman and Mrs. Pickar, as well as Mrs. Lacroix, Mr. Levesque, and Mr. Silbermann from the CVE Tennis Club. We hope that the proposals discussed will move forward. Please be assured of our commitment to being part of a solution that will satisfy all parties involved.
We are already planning our upcoming 2026–2027 season and hope to continue to count on your support.
